On many sites there will be a “Digg This” button which will send you to digg where you fill out a title and description. Technewsworld is one of them, but instead of having to fill out all the details it is already done for you. Here is the code;
Digg It
The script is self explanitary, just edit the way you want. By using this script, it may make users more likely to submit your site if they know they don’t have to fill out a description and title etc.
The user who noticed this on digg said;
pressing the “Digg It” link in the site made everything ridiculously easy… the title, description, and even the topic was already filled in. Somebody really wants the traffic generated from Digg.

Imagine being able to see your user’s mouse movements, where they click and much more. Think of all the data you could collect and use to optimize your advertisements. Soon you will be able to do this thanks to a new service that uses AJAX to monitor user’s activities. The service called ClickTale is currently in private beta however you can sign up for updates on the site. Here is how the describe it;
ClickTale shows you the full story: every mouse movement, every click and every scrolling action. By using ClickTale you will gain insights that will improve your website’s usability, enhance navigation, and increase effectiveness.
Certainly it is a product you should keep a close eye on, this could dramatically improve CTRs of hundreds of sites. Instead of using eye tracking studies you get your own study customized to your site. Unfortunatly it sounds like they plan to charge for this service, however if it has enough features it may be well worth it.

An eye-tracking study finds users block out ads on the Web, especially when the creative is not relevant to what’s on the page.
Found via Digg.
The article is based upon a study that claims, internet users automatically focus on the content on your site instead of the articles, however all is not lost. The study revealed that adverts that blend in to the content and non graphical ads give the best results.
I too have found this and my adsense settings are set to show text advertisements only.
If you do alot of PPC advertising, it also has some interesting results, most of which are common sense such as “Sponsored links need to closely relate to search terms to be successful.”.
Forums suffer from ad-blindness alot, members over time will avoid looking at the adverts. I’ve found and others reccommend that you constantly move the adverts around and/or make them bright. Examples of good adsense placements can be seen at forums.digitalpoint.com

10 Questions Google should answer
2) Will you agree to reimburse your advertisers in cash, rather than in Google AdWords credits, for payments they made to you for fraudulent clicks?
This would be interesting to see what actually happens to the money Google gets from fraudulent clicks. I guess an adwords advertiser may be able to answer that one.
5) Will you amend your mission statement to accurately reflect your profit motives i.e., Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and sell ads against that information…?
I think that is a bit unfair as a company as large as Google has to make a profit ;).
10) Will you agree to cease caching and repurposing Web pages, unless you obtain explicit permission from Web page owners to do so?
Personally I don’t mind Google caching my sites but I can see how alot of webmasters may not like it. I hate it when I go to a site and get a 404 or the server is down but it’s great knowing that I can just get out the Google cache and get what I was looking for. I’m not sure if the internet archive allows webmasters to stop their bot from caching sites.
Have a read of the questions, I haven’t published them all only a few I found interesting. View them here
